What to wear on your honeymoon
With so much to prep for the wedding day itself, you could be forgiven for overlooking the fact that you need to curate what you wear for what comes next – the honeymoon. Whether you’re escaping to sit poolside or heading off on a city break, this is your packing planner
For the airport
Relaxation is the path to romance, so start your vacation in comfort and style. Reach for an easy and effortless shirt dress, box-fresh sneakers, a scarf that can double as a blanket if the onboard air-con is too high and – because this is one of the only times it’s acceptable – a tongue-in-cheek slogan on your luggage.
The Maldives
If your style errs on the side of bohemian, then channel low-key luxe in a pristine white bikini with long and lean separates. Wicker and woven accessories are everywhere this season, so take full advantage and pretend you happened upon them in a far-flung market.
The French Riviera
Bikinis are all well and good but nothing beats the chic appeal of a one-piece. Look for a simple shape in a bold color, then layer it under wide-leg pants or a cotton midi skirt to go from beach to bar. You’ll need a flippy mini dress, too, as well as an oversized sun hat and at least one pair of bold earrings.
Barcelona
If your trip is more city-chic than deserted island, you can afford to inject more contemporary cool into your packing list. Take a statement-making dress that will look incredible worn alone but that looks great layered over narrow jeans when you’re aiming for something a little more casual.
Santorini
To up your vacation look’s levels of polish, keep things classic and elegant. An off-the-shoulder dress in black or navy is the perfect piece to dress up or down depending on the time of day. Just add kitten heels or sandals, an orangey-red lipstick and a basket bag to strike the perfect refined/relaxed balance.
