IN THE MORNING

As soon as I wake up…

…I now try not to check my phone, but it’s difficult, as my business and social media are on it. Instead, I do my workout with the Tone & Sculpt app – Krissy Cela is one of the founders and her classes are insane. It’s the only fitness regime that’s kept me motivated. Then I have a coffee and catch up with admin and social media. If the day’s not too busy, I go for a walk – something I started doing during lockdown. It’s such a great way to start the day – and I’ve really noticed a difference in my body and mental health.

I have super-dry skin…

…but, a year ago, I went to see a dermatologist, who put me on an incredible SkinCeuticals regimen and it’s made my skin so much better. I simply cleanse and then use its Hydrating B5 serum, Phyto Corrective serum and Ultra Facial Defense SPF50+ Facial Sunscreen. I also love the Ren Clean Skincare Radiance Brightening Dark Circle Eye Cream – it works, instantly.

Even on a no-makeup day, I do my brows

I always use my Refy Brow Sculpt, as it brightens and lifts my face. I love that bushy-brow look, so I start at the inner brow and work outwards, brushing upwards, then I wait a few seconds before using the brow brush to remove any excess gel and set the brows. My makeup’s quite simple anyway – I use the Tarte Shape Tape Concealer, which gives full coverage, so I blend it where I need it rather than using a foundation. Then I use my Refy Summer Skin Cream Bronzer, a Cream Blush and the Gloss Highlighter.

On a ‘bad face day’…

…my skin can get really dry, so I use a richer cream – the SkinCeuticals Epidermal Repair treatment really helps me – I’ll put it all over my face like a face mask, as it just fixes my skin. I also drink loads of water – if I’m looking puffy then I know I have to drink more. And I always do my Brow Sculpt – good brows really help freshen the face!

Flying takes its toll on my body

It makes me puffy and swollen, so I drink lots of water – I usually get on the plane with a two-liter bottle, even for short-haul flights. I always wear my compression socks, too, as there’s nothing worse than landing with big puffy ankles. I wear a thick moisturizer and I do love to use a lip mask – my all-time favorite is the Ilia Lip Wrap Treatment Mask because it’s so thick and nourishing. When I land, I also do a sheet mask – I love the 111Skin Rose Gold Brightening Mask or Summer Fridays’ Jet Lag Mask.

I try not to follow a diet…

…as I find it restrictive and it can control your life. I used to model and was so conscious of my weight and what I ate. Some days I would only eat almonds – I was so miserable, but I thought that was what models did. I try to eat intuitively now and breakfast is my favorite meal. But, if I wake up and I’m not hungry, I don’t eat until about 11am.

My brother recently gave me the best advice

He’s younger than me but, a few years ago, when I was getting really stressed with my job, he said, “If you’re worried about something, ask yourself if there’s anything you can do to fix it. If yes, then fix it! If not, then why worry about something you can’t do anything about?”

IN THE EVENING

Sunday is my self-care day

Or, rather, my self-care evening. I have a shower and use a textured exfoliating mitt and then cover myself with Laura Mercier’s Ambre Vanillé Souffle Body Crème. Or, if I’m having a bath, I’ll use lots of oil. I love to use a mask, usually from 111Skin, either for brightening or hydrating; and I always have fresh bedding. It helps me feel that I’ll get a good night’s sleep ahead of my busy week.

Doing my brows is a three-stage process

Before I launched Refy, I was using three different gels with two separate brushes, plus pencils and powders. It was all so unmanageable, which is why the brand began. I now tint my own brows, then I use the Brow Sculpt, wait a few seconds, comb to angle the hairs, then use the brush to press them down and lock the brows in place. The pomade adds more fullness and the super-fine pencil means I can draw in realistic individual hairs, especially at the front of the brows. I also use it to add faux freckles!

I love having regular facials

And, since having HydraFacials every four weeks, my skin feels very fresh and super-hydrated. I try to get a back massage at any opportunity I can, too.

My best beauty tip is…

…to use your bronzer on your eyelids as well as your cheeks – it just looks lovely and is now a regular part of my regimen. Also, when you put on your blush, blend a little over the bridge of your nose – it gives the prettiest sun-kissed look and I do it every day.

I cleanse my skin multiple times

I like to remove the day and everything I’ve been doing. Then I use the SkinCeuticals Micro-Exfoliating Scrub – it’s amazing – before I go in with my toner. I love to use SkinCeuticals Epidermal Repair treatment, too, as it’s so good for my dry skin. I use it all over, then the Ilia Lip Wrap Treatment Mask, and go to bed with my face like a glazed donut.

If I’m wired but tired…

…I try to read, as it makes me feel a bit sleepy. I use This Works Deep Sleep Pillow Spray every night, then put on an eye mask to black out the light, and zone out.

On my nightstand I have…

…a notepad and pen to write down any ideas, a glass of water, as I love to be hydrated, and my phone – not a great habit, but it’s a constant.
