IN THE MORNING

I like to wake up early…

…to get a head start on the day. It sounds cliché, but living on the farm and hearing the roosters crowing makes the wake-up so much easier and more natural. I used to check my emails first thing, but now I’m making an effort to meditate before I fully plug in. Practicing breathing exercises in the morning really helps me feel more centered and focused throughout the day.

The first step in my skincare regimen…

…is always my Regenerating Cleanser. It has gentle physical and chemical exfoliation, which leaves my skin really glowing and fresh. Then I use Hydrating Floral Essence – for a lot of people, essence is optional, but for me it isn’t because it just makes everything work better. Then I use Elixir Vitae – it’s my ‘desert island’ product as it’s like a daily dose of injectables that helps add density to the skin. Also, you have to use an eye cream – it’s one of the most important anti-aging steps, and my Restorative Eye Creme is super-creamy and helps with dark shadows. Finally, the Repairative Moisturizer is my daily face cream.

Exfoliation is key for me because…

…even though you’re not getting dirty overnight, a lot of dead skin can accumulate as you sleep. I like to start my day with the freshest skin possible, so I use my Smoothing Body Scrub in the shower.

In my morning smoothie…

…I start with superfood powders, including: Vital Reds by Gundry MD, which has superfruits and probiotics; Microbiome Labs MegaPreBiotic; a spoonful of Pure Synergy Organic Superfood powder; and a spoonful of the Mushroom Blend Mix from Four Sigmatic, for the immune system. Supplements are a big part of my wellness routine. For a beauty supplement, I love Vital Proteins Marine Collagen, and I also use the He Shou Wu Rejuvenation Tonic – it’s a herb that works on the blood, hair, skin and nervous system.

On a ‘bad’ skin day…

…I try to stay consistent with my skincare routine but look at the other parts of my wellness. Skincare is only a piece of the puzzle, and it’s important to take a holistic approach with exercise, a good sleep schedule and a healthy diet.

My Boosted Contouring Eye Balm is…

…my secret beauty weapon when I travel. I apply a thick layer as soon as I get in my seat, so I look fresh when I get to my destination.

Exercise has always been a part of my life…

…and I don’t work out to be fit, but to feel mentally and physically strong. It helps me relax and feel balanced and level-headed. For me, exercise is the most effective stress-reducer.

I do intermittent fasting…

…until around 10:30am, when I have a celery juice. It really helps with digestion, but it’s certainly not enough to hold me over until lunch, so I cut up some raw fruits and veggies – whatever’s in season. I’ll have a Tulsi green tea with ginger with my fruit – it’s a lot of liquids, but hydration is so important for your body and skin.

I’ve received so much amazing advice…

…but I’ve learned from watching the successful women around me that the key to a healthy work-life balance is to always re-evaluate your habits, attitudes, lifestyle – everything – to find that happy place between your work and personal life.

IN THE EVENING

I’m a skincare maximalist…

…and I have a lot of at-home facial routines for whatever mood my skin is in – or that I’m in. Instead of skincare feeling like a chore, I like to light a candle, throw on my coziest robe, and really take my time through each step of my regimen so I can feel like I am at a spa.

My ‘glow-getter’ hack…

…is perfect when you have just five minutes to get ready but want your skin to look its best. Start off by cleansing and exfoliating with my Regenerating Cleanser, and then apply the Resurfacing Mask – it gives an instant glow. I don’t wear a lot of makeup, but for an event I often use my Illuminating Moisturizer, as it gives skin a subtle sheen.

When I’m in Paris…

…I always stop in at the spa at Le Bristol – the space is so beautiful and the treatments are incredible. Another one of my favorite spas is Villa Feltrinelli in Gargnano, Italy. It’s only open in the summer months, as it’s right on Lake Garda – it is the most magical place.

If you don’t double cleanse at night…

…it’s like taking a shower with your clothes on – you’re going through the motions, but you aren’t really getting clean. I use my Nourishing Oil Cleanser first to break through that first layer of product and build-up that has accumulated throughout the day. My second cleanse is the Purifying Cleanser, which deeply cleanses and helps remove impurities.

If I can’t sleep…

…I wind down with one of my favorite apps called The Tapping Solution. It helps guide you through different tapping techniques, which use the principles of Chinese acupressure and modern psychology to release negative energy and stress.

On my bedside table I have…

…my astrological planner, to record my meetings and to-dos and scribble down what I hope to manifest in my life. I also have a scent diffuser for using with essential oils; my favorite blend combines a few drops of geranium and chamomile essential oils – I call it my ‘happy vibes’ blend because geranium is uplifting, while chamomile is very calming and soothing. I always have a book on my table and am currently reading Becoming Supernatural by Joe Dispenza. It’s about how the mind-body connection can transform your life.
