Are these books the next Big Little Lies?

Laura Dern, Reese Witherspoon and Shailene Woodley in HBO's ‘Big Little Lies’

If anyone can find the small screen’s next big hit, it’s REESE WITHERSPOON. These are the titles on her bedside table right now…

Lifestyle

Reese Witherspoon’s love of a good book has made her one of Hollywood’s most powerful producers. Her book-to-screen adaptations of Gillian Flynn’s Gone Girl, Cheryl Strayed’s Wild and Liane Moriarty’s Big Little Lies have been staggeringly successful (the latter won eight Emmy awards in 2018).

Via her production company, Hello Sunshine, Witherspoon is on a mission to create opportunities to tell women’s stories, navigating the entertainment industry on her own terms and proving to Hollywood’s testosterone-heavy panel of decision makers that audiences are hungry for a different point of view.
