The queue jump: Vetements’ cult sneakers

The idea of sneakers as a fashion statement is nothing new, but there was little that felt new about satin pumps until Vetements teamed up with Manolo Blahnik to reinvent them either. So we’ve been waiting with bated wallets to see what the rule-ripper-upper label will make of the sporty shoe. And, at last, here it is: a logo-emblazoned sneaker in collaboration with Reebok. It was worth waiting for.
