Everybody’s wearing khaki jackets

Easy to wear and cool without trying too hard, utility dressing is always a good idea, and this season’s go-to staple is a classic khaki jacket.

For off-duty styling notes, be inspired by Yoyo Cao’s military masterclass: simply balance the masculine undercurrents of khaki by adding softer fabrics; a silk shirt, loose pants, skirt or a ladylike print. Emulate Annina Mislin’s oversized suit co-ord and team with a boyfriend tee or turtleneck, or use it to add a military-inspired edge to a clean white summer look – Julia Haghjoo makes a strong case for that approach.
