The Cult Jewelry Pieces NET-A-PORTER Editors Are Adding To Their New-Season Wardrobes
As show season approaches, the NET-A-PORTER team reveal what’s on their Wish List, highlighting the hero pieces they will be wearing to watch the SS24 runways

“After years of maximalism and OTT gold designs, I’m really loving the minimalist ’90s mood that’s swept the FW23 runways and inspired me to streamline my jewelry wardrobe. I’m particularly into fuss-free, slightly androgynous designs that have a unisex appeal, of which Sophie Buhai’s ‘Walter’ signet ring is a perfect example. Danish label Lié Studio is a recent discovery; I love its super-shiny, sculptural designs and plan to wear the brand’s silver pieces as the ultra-stylish twin-sister founders do: with pared-back T-shirts, blazers and great denim. I’ve also been delighted to see a return to twinkling diamond and crystal pieces – a pair of diamond studs or a tennis necklace layered among chunky chains is the perfect way to add femininity while still keeping things cool. Pair with an oversized cotton-poplin shirt – like this one from Dries Van Noten – baggy denim and simple black ballet pumps to offset the overt girliness of the twinkling stones.”
Libby Page, market director
“Recently, I’ve been drawn to architectural, bold fine jewelry that somehow still feels understated. I love the mix of yellow gold with subtle diamonds in all these pieces – they feel special but easy-going enough for everyday. Recently, we have welcomed several designers to the NET-A-PORTER fold, including Marina B, Maor and 42 Suns. I love each brand’s fresh perspective, especially Marina B – a heritage maison that still feels cool and highly coveted today, as this is an area of my wardrobe I’ve been building over recent years. I enjoy compiling a versatile and holistic collection that works harmoniously, so I can layer up or dress down, depending on the occasion, outfit and my mood. When it comes to watches, I religiously wear Hermès Timepieces’ ‘Heure H’ – I love that the strap can easily be switched, and it gives my wrist stack a chic shot of color.”
Hannah Cole, senior shopping editor
“For the past few years, yellow gold has really ruled the runways. Gold hoops and chunky chain necklaces have dominated our social feeds and pervaded street-style photography. But thanks to aughts nostalgia (a simple cross necklace and heart charm bracelet were my first foray into fine jewelry), silver is finally staging a comeback. Its high polish and mirror-like shine boast an unfussy and timeless appeal that suddenly feels modern again. For fall, I will be pairing sleek and sophisticated pieces from brands such as Eéra and Piaget with head-to-toe gray. I love the idea of clashing chunky chains with Anita Ko’s white-diamond tennis bracelet – my teenage self would be very proud – but I would pair them with chic knitwear by The Row and some very grown-up Saint Laurent loafers, just for good measure.”
